About Appers Systems
Appers Systems is a small, independent Android studio based in Pakistan. We build and maintain a handful of focused utility apps, of which Job Alert is one. No investors, no sales team, no growth department — the people who write the code also answer support@apperssystems.com.
Why this app exists
Searching for work on a phone is unnecessarily heavy. The mainstream job apps want an account before they show you anything, a profile before they let you search, and an email address they can use later. If you are between jobs and simply want to see what is being advertised this week, that is a lot of ceremony for a browse.
Job Alert is the smaller thing: open it, pick one of 62 countries, type a keyword, read the listings, bookmark the ones worth a second look, and tap through to apply on the employer's own site. No sign-up, no email confirmation, no profile. It is free to download and free to use within the published limits — 3 searches a day and 5 saved jobs on the free tier, with the remote-only filter and higher limits behind premium.
The country list is the part we are quietly proud of. Job search apps tend to be excellent in one or two large markets and useless everywhere else, which is not much help if you are looking for work in a country the app economy tends to skip.
How we write about our own app
App store copy has a credibility problem, and we have contributed to it. An earlier version of this website claimed a coverage number the app did not support, advertised a capability the app does not have, and described listings in language that implied a level of checking nobody had performed. Rewriting this site was mostly an exercise in taking those claims back out.
The rules we now hold ourselves to:
- No invented capabilities. If a feature is not in the shipped app, it does not appear on this site — however good it would look in a feature grid. That includes the one people expect from the name: Job Alert does not send push messages, and this site says so on three separate pages.
- No fabricated numbers. No made-up ratings, no invented download counts, no five-star testimonials from people who do not exist, and no rounded-up totals of listings or countries. The country count on this site is 62 because that is what is in the code.
- Honest about what the app is. It is a search tool over aggregated listings. We are not a recruiter, an employer, an agency, or a hiring platform. Appers Systems does not post, verify, or endorse any job listing, and we say that in the app, on the store, and here.
- Limits stated up front. The free-tier caps are on the home page, the how it works page and the FAQ, in plain numbers, rather than discovered the first time you hit one.
- No outcome promises. We cannot promise an interview, a reply, or a job. No app can. What this one does is help you find listings quickly and get you to the employer's own form.
